MindMapper
An innovation hub for mental wellbeing research for young people across the UK.
Problem
Young adults aged between 16-25 years old have the highest reported prevalence of poor mental health. In 2019 alone, over 216,000 young people took their own lives as a result of poor mental health. Despite young adults being the most affected, they are also the least likely to receive treatment than other age groups, with 75% of all cases not receiving any help at all. The lack of education about mental health and lack of access to age-appropriate services is the main cause of this.
Solution
My Mind Matters Too’s central hub ‘MindMapper’, exists to connect young people with services, resources and educational content to ensure that they can live a mentally healthy life. MindMapper is the largest database for mental health support in the world, giving every young person the opportunity to find support that is quick, easy and tailored to you, wherever in the world you may be.
